Patrick received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Riverside. He received a Master of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He received his juris doctorate from Southwestern School of Law and did post graduate work at the University of San Diego School of Law for a Master of Law.
Patrick is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
